Today’s guest painter came in the form of Trafalgar Square’s finest Donna.

Keen to maintain the Scarborough stereotype, Donna wore her pyjamas, luckily opting for PPE for protection. Those with good vision will also notice she is excited for the upcoming festive period, as said pyjamas are indeed Xmas themed.

Due to Scarborough’s recent amber weather warning, Katie The Pink has been reduced to only painting a splodge on the front of The Boundary.

In a recent interview with Painters Weekly magazine, Kate said:

“It’s been awwa wet man”

This week we had Eastfield heart-throb Logan rolling along The Boundary walls.

A sterling job done, however also an education. Logan has only just learnt that if you’re being paid by the hour, to not complete said job so quickly! We think the clock on his hand reads 4.45pm….

As work resumed this morning, we can officially announce that the new Boundary colour is “Boundary Purple” according to the Dulux Paint Chart.

In light of this, we have prepared a prescribed list of answers to the questions some of our ‘lovely’ neighbours will no doubt ask when we hit the front.

- No it’s not a base coat
- Yes it is bright
- No you don’t have to look at it every day
- Yes you do need to get a life
- Neon green was indeed too expensive

Today’s office. Room 8 got a bit of a shock to see 2 arses outside their window. Kate was quick to point out “It’s Mrs Arse to you”.

First PPE refusal goes to Julia, she didn’t want to look like she was clearing the bodies away!

So work has begun on The Boundary’s repaint. Katie The Pink has reported back to mission HQ that her and Gillian have discovered many cracks. Some more obvious than others……

Rumours surfaced recently that we were hosting Liverpool trio The Scaffold on their reunion tour, but we can now quash those rumours and confirm that scaffolding has gone up at The Boundary.

A winter of re-painting is on the cards. The overalls have arrived and ironically they are bright pink as an ode to The Scaffold’s hit song ‘Lily The Pink’. Kate will now be known as ‘Katie The Pink’.

Now that we have had time to adjust, it is with great sadness to report that our beloved husband, father and legendary Boundary egg poacher Steve, passed away on 12th June.

He had a very long yet immensely strong and valiant fight with an unrelenting brain tumour.

Considering his difficult battle, Steve maintained an amazing level of humour, as he typically did throughout his life. And despite being discharged from Oncology in October last year, he well and truly surpassed the life expectancy we and the medical professionals expected. Even in is final week, he was not going down without a fight. We knew Steve was strong, but I think we took for granted just how strong.

On the 23rd June we gave him the monumental send-off a legend like him deserved, with his nearest and dearest in attendance. We fulfilled his wish of no black colours or hearses, instead being taken up to the Crematorium in the back of the Funtime Express, with the service attendees following in a 1950’s Leyland Bus.

Kate, David and Mac would like to once again thank everyone who was there for us over the last two years. Steve was very appreciative of all those who took the time to visit and allowed him to have an element of normality in his final months.
