THREE ICONS. THREE EXPERIENCES. ONE WESTON.

Over the decades, different versions of the letter “W” have appeared around the hotel, and some of those original designs are still here today.

As part of our new branding, the wonderfully talented has brought these little pieces of our history back to life, reimagining them as three distinctive icons that celebrate the different parts of the Weston experience.

🛏️ STAY – a place to unwind, feel at home and wake up to those beautiful sea views.

🍴 DINE – the home of Cecil’s, where good food, Yorkshire produce and a warm welcome come together.

🥂 RELAX – somewhere to slow down, settle in and enjoy a little time to yourself.

Each icon has its own personality and can stand proudly on its own. Yet together, they belong to the same family – just like the different experiences that make the Weston what it is.

We love that our new branding isn’t simply about looking forward. It’s about celebrating where we’ve come from, preserving the little details that make this hotel so special and giving them a new purpose for the next chapter.

A little history, a lot of heart, and a “W” that’s been part of the Weston story since the very beginning.

A little piece of Weston history, with a fresh new look…

We’re SO excited to finally share our new branding with you!

We’ve been working with the oh-so-talented Charlotte Middleton Design to bring together the many little details that make the Weston what it is today, taking inspiration from our Victorian heritage, the original Weston lettering and the stories hidden within our hotel.

The result feels unmistakably 'Weston' – a little more polished, a little more refined, but still rooted in everything we’ve always loved about this special space.

Charlotte’s uncovered details we’ve walked past for years and given them a whole new lease of life. Thank you, Charlotte, for understanding our vision so beautifully and bringing it to life!

This is just the beginning, too. You’ll start to see our new look appearing around the hotel and across our website and socials over the coming weeks.

Same family, same warm welcome, same little corner of Scarborough we’re so proud to call ours. Just with a new look to carry us into the next chapter.

SUNDAY, BUT MAKE IT CECIL’S.

Sunday Lunch has returned and we’ve given it the Cecil’s treatment.

Think Citrus-Cured Salmon, pickled fennel, cultured cream and fennel pollen.

Slow-Roasted Rump of Yorkshire Beef, all the trimmings and gravy.

Roasted Hake with spiced pumpkin velouté, Savoy cabbage, hazelnut and sage oil for those taking a different route.

Then Autumn Raspberry & Rose Posset, Caramelised Pear Cake or Noalya Dark Chocolate Delice to finish.

All served from 1pm–3pm every Sunday at Cecil’s Seaview Restaurant.

🥂 SUNDAY LUNCH IS BACK AT CECIL’S

A little thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Sunday Lunch back last week - it was lovely to see some familiar faces around the tables again ❤️

After a little summer break, Sunday Lunch has officially returned to Cecil’s, and we’re looking forward to making it a regular part of Sundays at The Weston once again.

Think a proper Sunday roast, Yorkshire produce, a relaxed table overlooking Scarborough’s South Bay and, most importantly, no washing up afterwards.

Whether you’re catching up with family, meeting friends or simply fancy letting someone else do the cooking, we’d love to welcome you.

Sunday Lunch is served every Sunday from 1pm.
