🎶 What a super start to the Open Air Theatre! 🎶

We've heard nothing but fantastic feedback from guests who joined us for the opening weekend's concerts. The atmosphere in town has been brilliant, the weather has mostly behaved itself, and it's been lovely to see Scarborough coming alive for the summer season once again ☀️🌊

We're looking forward to welcoming our next wave of concert-goers this Friday as the legendary Paul Weller heads to Scarborough Open Air Theatre 🎤

Just a reminder, for Open Air Theatre nights, Cecil's opens early, giving you plenty of time to enjoy dinner and a drink before taking a stroll along Marine Drive. No need to rush – just good food, sea views and the perfect start to your evening 💛🍽️✨

☀️ WHAT a week 🌊💛

Scarborough’s absolutely shone this half term - blue skies over the bay, sandy toes, ice creams on the seafront, and that glorious sea air doing everyone the world of good ✨

It’s been lovely seeing families making memories by the coast again, from early morning beach walks to afternoons in Peasholm Park, fish and chips on the foreshore, and brave little dips in the sea 🌼🍦🌊

We hope you’ve all enjoyed the sunshine as much as we have… and if you spent part of your half term with us at The Weston, thank you for making it such a wonderful week 😊🙏

Launching TODAY, our new menu celebrates the very best of the season - from Isle of Wight heritage tomatoes and Yorkshire asparagus to fresh seafood, vibrant summer flavours and beautifully sourced local produce.

Created by Head Chef Andrew Heward and Sous Chef Ronan Weatherill, this season’s dishes are all about relaxed coastal dining with a little Cecil’s flair 🌊
