We're looking for a reliable and friendly person to join our team at our village pub.
Approximately 20–25 hours per week, working evenings and weekends.
Hospitality experience is preferred, but the most important qualities are reliability, confidence with customers and the ability to work independently as part of a small team.
Due to our rural location, applicants will need their own transport.
This role would suit someone looking for a long-term position in a friendly, community-focused pub. It may particularly appeal to a semi-retired hospitality professional, someone returning to work, or somebody looking to move away from the pressures of larger hospitality venues while still enjoying customer-facing work.
We're looking for someone who can become a valued member of our small team and help us continue to provide a warm welcome to both locals and visitors.

We’re open all day today and tomorrow, serving food from 12pm until 8pm and on Sunday we’ll be serving our fabulous homemade Sunday lunches from 12pm–5pm (booking advisable ) 🍽️
We’re family friendly, dog friendly, and have a children’s play area too — perfect for making the most of the weekend!

What a scorcher! With record-breaking temperatures and wall-to-wall sunshine today, our team are working incredibly hard in the heat to keep everyone fed, watered, and enjoying the Bank Holiday vibes 🌞🍻🏕️

Join us this Sunday for homemade favourites made with the best locally sourced ingredients from right here in Yorkshire. From perfectly roasted meats from Turners Butchers Rillington, mashed and roast potatoes grown here in Yedingham, Yorkshire puddings and rich homemade gravy — everything is prepared fresh in-house by our chef Inga!
