Have a proper look around The Lodge, from the king-size bed to the outdoor bath.

Some details you’ll notice straight away. Others deserve a closer look: shelves made from our own trees, hand-thrown mugs, locally roasted coffee and a map for deciding where tomorrow’s adventure begins.

There’s a kitchen for nights when you’d rather stay in, two village pubs within walking distance, and a welcome breakfast hamper ready for the morning.

Coffee and brunch at Brewed, a wild sauna with Whitby Wellbeing and a sandwich from Mary’s in Sandsend. A few good reasons to venture beyond the cabin this autumn.

We’ve put together seven of our favourite things to do nearby. Cycle the Cinder Track, spend an afternoon in Robin Hood’s Bay followed by dinner at Fylingdales Inn, or find the waterfall at Hayburn Wyke before lunch at the pub. There’s always another stretch of the Cleveland Way to explore, too.

All within a 30-minute drive of The Lodge.
