⚓ SCARBOROUGH HARBOUR

There's something lovely about wandering around the harbour when you're in Scarborough.

Fishing boats, the sound of the sea, colourful buildings, the castle rising above you and plenty of places to stop for something to eat.

It's one of those places where it's worth slowing down and having a wander rather than rushing on to the next attraction.

And of course… no trip to Scarborough would be complete without fish and chips or ice cream by the sea! 🐟🍟

'A lovely place to stay.
Very peaceful & tucked away
A well presented home from home and for us ,who like to walk, a safe place to leave the car and wander into Scarborough and the Open Theatre.
All as described and a great use of space
Very happy to book again the next time we are planning to visit the area

With its winding paths, mature trees, water and distinctive oriental-inspired features, it's a lovely place for a peaceful stroll away from the seafront.

Did you know Scarborough has two very different bays, each with its own character?

North Bay is a little quieter and is backed by the castle headland, while South Bay is right at the heart of the traditional seaside town, with the harbour, cafés and plenty going on.

One of our favourite things about Scarborough is that you can have a completely different experience depending on which direction you walk.
