🎣 A few catches from Cleveleymere this past summer! 🎣

Some lovely fish landed by our guests recently — and a great reminder of just how difficult and rewarding our lake can be.

Cleveleymere is not a runs water or a stocked commercial fishery. Our lake is challenging, with naturally established fish that certainly make you work for them! 🎣

That’s what makes landing one all the more rewarding. 💪

Well done to everyone who managed to get amongst them this summer — and thank you for sharing your catch photos with us! 📸🐟

There’s nothing sweeter than watching a devoted pea hen teaching her little ones how to survive. 💚

In this video, she’s busy scratching and digging through the ground to uncover tasty morsels for her four tiny peachicks. Every peck and scratch is a lesson, showing them where to find food and encouraging them to explore the world around them.

Nature really is amazing to watch. 🦚🐥
