We are honoured and delighted to share some wonderful news.

Scourie Hotel has been named Best Fishing Provider at the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards 2026, announced at the Scottish Game Fair, Scone Palace, earlier this month.

For a small hotel in a remote corner of north west Sutherland, on water that anglers have returned to for generations, this one means a great deal. It is recognition of the fishing we are lucky enough to look after, more than 300 hill lochs and lochans across some 20,000 acres, and of the ghillies, staff and guests who make Scourie what it is.

Thank you to Country Sport Scotland and the BASC, and congratulations to all the finalists. The strength of the field says everything about the world class fishing we have here in Scotland.

Huge congratulations to our new guests, Sam and David, on an absolutely unforgettable trip to Scourie! 🙌
