We love the Friday meal service with our besties from Hope House!

Fridays are always a really big deal at Hope House - and today has been no exception, with another batch of hot meals delivered to families and individuals across our community, from Cadney and Wrawby to Belton, Epworth, Kirton, Winterton, and pretty much every village and part of Scunthorpe in between!
Our meal delivery service, in which we work alongside our wonderful friends at the Wortley House Hotel, has been running since Covid, meaning we have now been delivering meals for six years. In April this year, we reached the incredible milestone of 30,000 meals delivered. 🤯
None of this, however, would be possible without an amazing team of people working behind the scenes.
A huge thank you goes to our dream team of Keith, Kath, Sarah and Gill, who coordinate deliveries each week, plan routes and organise every detail to ensure the meals reach those who need them most.
Thank you also to Gez, Andy the chef, and all of the fantastic staff at the Wortley, whose generosity and hard work make this service possible.
Finally, thank you to our incredible volunteer drivers, who give up their time at the end of every week to deliver meals across North Lincolnshire, whatever the weather.
This week alone we have delivered meals to 76 families. It is an incredible operation and a remarkable act of kindness that takes place week after week.
As part of Volunteers' Week, we want to recognise these local heroes and thank every single person who helps make this happen!

Saturday 27th June Dame Ida International Cabaret Show at Wortley House Hotel
Only 19 tickets left online or if you're quick you might get a physical ticket at The Wortley Hotel reception.
Over 18s only as this is Dame Ida not so family friendly cabaret show in full. Expect laughter, dancing and audience participation.

We are looking for reliable & enthusiastic people to join our waitering & banqueting team. Some weeks are busier than others so you’ll need to be flexible and sometimes be able cover shifts at short notice.
