Millers Cottage Millers Cottage is a cosy holiday get away in Seahouses, Northumberland. The cottage is part of an lovingly converted stone built 1820's granary.

Dating from around 1820 the cottage was once part of a granary but has since been lovingly restored to create a characterful and homely destination only ten minutes walk from the wide open beaches and bustling harbour. The cottage comfortably sleeps five it has a master with en suite, a generous twin and single bedrooms. There is a great kitchen diner to cook, hang out and eat in as well as separ

ate cosy lounge, great for board games, TV or just curling up and relaxing. The rooms are full of character with two of the bedrooms nestling in the roof beams and wonderful built in window seats which sit snug into the deep stone walls of the building. The property is eight minutes walk from the well stocked Coop, pubs and restaurants. No matter how busy the village gets you'll always be able to park as the cottage has its own off street parking space. SURF LESSONS...
The sea today felt incredibly warm. Warmest I have ever felt it. My hands and feet actually felt warmer in the water than standing on the beach in the rain and wind. I will be available throughout the whole of September and October (and beyond) for lessons to make the most of the warm sea and good swell, the sea will stay warm for quite a long time yet. Fantastic calm day to take a trip to the Farne Islands on Serenity II. Very quiet now as the breeding season is April, May, June and early July. I even managed a snooze in the sun on the beach of Staple Island which certainly isn't possible when you're being dive bombed by nesting terns. Looking forward to coming back next year for right in the middle of the season.
