From little acorns....
We started life in 2010 as a 5 pitch Caravan Club CL site, we were continuously full and turning away visitors, so it became apparent very quickly that we needed to expand. Unfortunately as the Caravan Club have a limit of 5 vans this meant “going it alone”.
We were confident that we had what the market wanted, quality location, a quiet spot with no kids, the essential services, and welcoming dogs. So, in 2014, following an extension to the paddock, installation of pitch side services and the inclusion of a fenced dog run , life began as an independent site. Offering limited facilities (no shower or toilet block) has been more than made up for by the quiet but convenient location, no kids, and the fact that we positively welcome well behaved dogs.
And, we’ve done this and maintained one of the cheapest nightly rates around, many of the fully serviced sites are now charging upward of £40 per night..... So, its bit of a no-brainer at £22 per night
Our visitors love it and many return, often more than once a year, so its still recommended to book in advance to secure your space, we look forward to seeing you.
