☀️ Summer 2026, you’ve been fantastic! ☀️

What a summer it’s been here at Church Stile! We’ve had an absolute blast and have loved every moment. We feel so incredibly blessed to have welcomed such wonderful guests during the summer holidays. ❤️

We hope you’ve all had a fantastic holiday with us, enjoyed everything the Wasdale Valley and Church Stile have to offer, and created memories to last a lifetime! 🏔️✨

But don’t worry… summer may be coming to an end, but the magic of the Wasdale Valley is still here! 🌿

We’re open until mid October for camping, so there’s still plenty of time to escape to the Lakes, breathe in the fresh mountain air and experience the beauty of Wasdale for yourself.

We’re all stocked up and ready for the weekend — and the last Bank Holiday of summer! 🌞

We’ve got everything you need for the perfect bank holiday weekend!

🥩 Delicious local meat, straight from the farm
🍰 Homemade cakes & treats
🤤 Sausage rolls
🍺 Local beers
🧺 Lots of fantastic local produce

And don’t forget, the food van is here EVERY DAY this weekend! 🙌

Fresh from our very own farm! 🐑🌿

We’ve just had a delivery of some very tasty Herdwick lamb, and we’ve got 5 whole legs of fresh lamb in the campsite shop, ready for you to pick up. 🐑

Pop into the campsite shop between 8:30am–8:00pm to snap one up — once they’re gone, they’re gone!

With Church Stile being a working farm, there’s always something exciting going on! Our guests love the unique experience of staying on the farm and seeing our adorable young lambs. 🐑

While you’re staying with us, keep your eyes peeled for our farmers and team as they go about their day, caring for all the animals around the campsite. You never know what you might see! 🌟 🐑 🐦 🐴

“We had a fantastic weekend at Church Stile. We had been before but this time seemed even better that the first. The site has the most amazing views in a fabulous location and is well laid out, clean and well looked after. Facilities are great, the shop is a big plus as is the food van on the various nights.
Apart from all of that what really stood out for us were the fantastic staff on site. They were professional, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and just lovely. Everyone we spoke to from check in to check out were the same, a great team, thank you!”

A few guests have checked into the bug hotel, and they don’t seem to be checking out anytime soon… I guess they’ve decided it’s a rather nice place to call home! 🐞🐝🦋

“Just back from 2nd trip to Church Stile - Was as great as our 1st!

Our van broke down as we arrived but staff SO helpful and carted our gear to our pitch using the quad so we could set up whilst waiting for RAC.

We’re a fam of 6 (Kids 6,7,8,8) and safety is our #1 concern but site is perfect size not to lose the kids, for them to find their way around easily and with minimal traffic so we could relax a bit! Kids made lots of new friends at park who they played with throughout our stay.

Great base location for outdoorsy types! Walking, paddleboarding, wild swimming etc.
Toilets clean, plenty of hot water, showers good size with shelves and hooks for your things. Clothes and dish washing facilities good too.

Staff regularly patrol the site and any issues are dealt with swiftly.

Shop well stocked - has affordable stuff for kids to spend their pocket money on.
All staff so friendly and helpful…. Will be returning next year! (Our 8 yr old said ‘it feels like home’)”

The campsite is full of life, and we’re loving welcoming so many wonderful guests and families. The summer holidays are in full swing, and it’s been fantastic to see everyone making the most of their time here. 🏕️
