One of our famous campsite cats seems very sad now all the customers have gone! 🥹🐱

Not to worry, she’s back at the farmhouse and we’re giving her lots of cuddles! 🏡❤️🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who’s shared their BBQs, given her cuddles and looked after her during your stay. ❤️ She honestly loves having you all here at the farm and being part of your holidays! 🐾

Superb location for rambling through the Lake District, really close to Scafell Pike and within reach of all the best views and walks.

🏕️ SEASONAL COUPLE WANTED – 2027 SEASON 🌿

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking couple to join our team from March 2027 to September 2027.

🌲 Varied role including:
• Cleaning
• Farm shop and admin work
• Guest check-ins
• Groundskeeping & maintenance
• Firewood deliveries & evening site checks
• General campsite duties

⏰ 30–40 hours per person per week
💷 National Minimum Wage
🚐 Electric motorhome/campervan pitch provided

Life on the farm lately 🐑

It’s time to bring the flock down from the hills after a summer up high. You might have spotted a few of the girls while exploring the Wasdale Valley. 🏔️🐑

Each sheep get checked over to make sure they are in top condition ready for the chilly winter months ahead, the flock is looking in tip top condition and it’s great to see them down in the valley again.

If you’re in the Wasdale valley keep an eye out for us gathering the sheep 🐑

Each hut comes with its own wood-burning stove, soft lighting and a super cosy bed to snuggle into — the perfect little escape for experiencing the beauty of the Lake District in comfort.
