Have you seen the many colourful Beach Buggies that are in Beer this weekend? Still plenty of time to see them and if you do, give them a wave, they’re a friendly bunch.

Today the buggies will be putting on a colourful display in the Jubilee Gardens Beer between 12 Noon - 5ish.

On Sunday there will be a Coastal Town Cruise and the route with approximate timings is …

Anchor Inn - open for food all day and tables can be booked direct or online

Dolphin Hotel- open from 10am with food served between 10am-2.30pm and 6pm-8.30pm

Marine House at Beer - open from 10am to 5pm daily, but you can also shop by phone or online

Friday 4th December
Bay View Tea Rooms and Craft Shop - opening Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the next two weekends

So much happening in beautiful Beer this December...take a peek if you’re visiting us.

Hurrah! December in Beer….we know you are busy, but we have everything from carol concerts to Christmas Eve opening hours lest you find you have forgotten the cranberry sauce! And this photo is a sneak preview of our Beer Advent Calendar starting tomorrow ....

Wednesdays 4th and 11th December at 10am - Sailing Club Coffee. All welcome!

Wednesday 4th December at 7.30pm - Beer WI host Canapes and Christmas Crafts. Visiting WI members also welcome.

Thursday 5th/12th/19th December at 10.30am - Coffee morning in the Congregational Church Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Friday 6th December 5pm to 8pm - Beer Christmas Shopping Evening with carols and the switching on of the lights at 5.30pm, Honiton Town Band from 6.15pm, Father Christmas in his grotto and a wonderful craft fair in the church. See you there!

Saturday 7th December at 2pm - Wurlitzer concert in the Congregational Church featuring Trevor Bolshaw. Adult tickets cost £7, but it’s free entry for children.

Saturday 7th December at 7pm - Beer Sailing Club Christmas Dinner

Sunday 22nd December at 4.30pm - Christingle Service at St Michael’s Church. Note the christingles will be made in the church at 2pm on the day before.

Tuesday 24th December 5.30pm - Christmas Carols by Candlelight at the Congregational Church.

Tuesday 24th December 11.30pm - Midnight Mass at St Michael’s Church

Christmas Day 💫Wednesday 25th December 9.30am - Christmas Day Services at both the Congregational Church and St Michael’s Church.

Flurry of fireworks at midnight on Tuesday 31st December followed by full fireworks at 12.15 am! Happy New Year!
