St Marks Stays is self-catering group accommodation in beautiful Cumbrian countryside St Marks Stays has 8 bedrooms, 6 are ensuite and 2 share a bathroom.

There is a dining room, 2 lounges, self-catering kitchen, studio for retreats and extensive garden. We are pet friendly and have an EV charger. We live in a self contained apartment at the end of the house, so are around if needed.

Have you ever considered treating your family and friends to a chef dinner whilst away?

We have had many chefs create special celebration dinners here over the years and this most recent one was for a hen party. Laura Marschall is local to Sedbergh and cooked the most amazing Indian feast for them, but she has been a chef across the world so can cook so many kinds of cuisine for you.

The garden this August.

A rose that was a 50th birthday present (close to 4 years ago now!) and blooms to perfection every year, reminding me of my friend who bought it and the smell reminds me of my Grandad's garden from my childhood.

It is more unusual to have a white Buddleja so we love seeing this with the butterflies on every summer.

Bought in the sale last autumn and I always wanted them, the Verbena have bought a smile to my face as they tower over the top of the garden decking.

We have a new December weekend become available that could solve all your Christmas dilemmas!

The dilemma of the extended family all want to get together but you want to just sit on your sofa in your Christmas PJs on the day and chill out with less people.

There are now two weekends available before Christmas, so you could all get together here before the big day to celebrate together and then know you can relax the way you want to on Christmas Day.

Or you may have been too late to book Christmas here, but a weekend in December would make up for it.

You can book direct via the website to secure a weekend away to make everyone happy.
