Christmas plans, all in one place!

Work parties, Christmas Day, an evening of Japanese dining at Tsuchi or festive bakes at Three Hares. We’d love to have you in Sedbergh this year.

December weekends book up fast, so get your date in early. Everything you need is in the post, and if you’ve got any questions or want to book, just send us a message.

Sunday night, and the weekend’s nearly gone. We’ve got the next one sorted for you.

Check in on Friday and close the door on the week.

Start Saturday with coffee and something freshly baked at The Three Hares, spend the day strolling the Yorkshire Dales, then come back to a proper autumn pie and a seat at the bar, dog at your feet.

Stay in for a long, slow dinner, or make a night of it with seven courses at Tsuchi.

We’re 30 minutes from the Lakes and a world quieter. Breakfast is included, dogs are welcome, and there are 18 rooms, each a little different.

Our set lunch menu is a very good excuse to get a date in the diary.

Oktoberfest is nearly here 🍻

And now we can finally share the live music line-up.

Friday: Ava Grace from 6.30pm Saturday: Thom Farrell from 6.30pm

🍺 OKTOBERFEST IS THIS WEEKEND

Consider this your official reminder that if you don’t have plans yet… you do now.

This Friday 2nd + Saturday 3rd October, we’re bringing a little bit of Bavaria to The Black Bull with German-style b**rs, a German-inspired menu and live folk music.

Basically, Oktoberfest… just in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales.

Grab your mates, come hungry and make a weekend of it.

Proof the best cafés aren’t always in cities.

Tucked away behind The Black Bull in Sedbergh, we’re a little café and bakery surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales.

Come by for freshly baked pastries, really good coffee and something delicious from the kitchen.

We’re well placed for muddy boots after a morning on the fells, cyclists passing through and dogs in need of a rest (owners too).
