We were lucky to be able to say “Au revoir” to some of our lovely guests in person. For everyone who we didn’t get a chance to speak to, we just wanted to say “thank you” for choosing us for your stay and all the kind words. You can now buy a great selection of inventive, restaurant quality ready meals to warm up at home. We trialled the Japanese Vegetarian Curry with Nina’s Miso Paste and it was absolutely delicious (pardon the questionable presentation skills..) . The Catherdral Quarries at Little Langdale were such a discovery, just an hour away. A series of spectacular caves in a beautiful woodland, overlooking a tarn. Perfect for little adventurers with some scrambling, a bit of climbing and general exploring. Our boys absolutely loved it!

Sedbergh is so lucky to have such a fantastic gastronomical gem and it’s lovely to see it receive another great write up! We often recommend The Black Bull to our guests for a special meal out and they come back with raving reviews. Nina’s creative and imaginative menus, focused on the best of the seasonal offering are simply fabulous. 🥂🍽
