Big thank you to Richard for arranging TSSC Triumph group staying on the campsite for a memorial for their very dear friend, Alan Heaton🚗 They have kindly invited Margaret to the Fat Lamb and the Tan Hill on the triumph annual run out to celebrate Alans life and happy days at High Laning!

As well as two Duke of Edinburgh groups staying from Urmston Grammar School after completing a long day of walking! Good luck to them all ☀ 🏕

And with availability at High Laning, it’s the perfect excuse for a relaxing getaway!

This coming weeks Chippy route 🙌

Tuesday we are back in The Club Inn Endmoor 4.30pm to 7.15pm

Wednesday we are in yealand pop up chippy nights at the village hall 4.30pm to 7.15pm last orders

Thursday we are back in Hornby Village Institute where you can get a chippy tea and enjoy them inside with a drink from the bar.

Friday we are in Dent with Cowgill community forum out side the village hall 4.30pm to 7.15pm last orders

Saturday we are back at Old Park Wood Caravan Park out side reception 4.30pm to 7.15pm

We are looking for someone to join our farming family run business
3 days as a team member at Dent Village Heritage Centre, Cafe and The Woolshed.
The hours have a degree of flexibility.
However, this will involve some weekend work.
The role will include some presentation of food from our successful café.

For those visiting our site over the Easter holidays please note that the A684 from M6 J37 to Sedbergh will be closed.
The alternative route is to exit M6 at J36, use A65 to Kirkby Lonsdale then A683 to Sedbergh, then following signs to Dent

A section of the near will be closed whilst works are carried out, this is anticipated to take upto 3 weeks to be completed.

⏱️ The road will be closed from 0800-1700hrs.

📍 Location: A684 Sedbergh, from a point approx. 400m north east of its junction with the B6257, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 70m.

🚙Alternative Route:

🚛 HGV Suitable Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of A684, M6, A65 and A683.

🚙 Non- HGV Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of A684, B6256 and A683.

🚲 It will not be safe to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists throughout the restriction.

🚨 Passage for Emergency Vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of this restriction.
