Unfortunately today a lady had a seizure on the campsite. Within a few minutes of the 999 call, our (volunteer) local first responder was on scene administering life saving support.

Shortly afterwards the doctor and ambulance arrived. 30 minutes later the air ambulance arrived.

The lady was still fitting, so the decision was made that the air ambulance specialists would travel by road to support the casualty all the way to Lancaster and meet the helicopter there.

It proved a stark reminder for us that we have some fantastic volunteers, professionals and air ambulance charity supporting our rural communities.

Sometimes thank you doesn’t seem enough.

The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides enhanced pre-hospital care to the most critically ill & injured patients across the North West.

What a GREAT Bank Holiday weekend!! ⛺️
SO many happy faces, kids having fun, parents relaxing and everyone enjoying the sunshine while at Farm & Fell !

In the last month ALL the pigs have had piglets!! 🐷 🐷 🐷 🐷
Guess in the comments how many piglets you think we have now? 🤔

More live music this bank holiday weekend!

This year we’ll celebrate our Armed Forces by joining our Rawthey veterans.

The day starts with an outdoor church service on top of Winder Fell at 1030hrs. This service will be led by Rawthey Padre Jay Marshall.

After the service our veterans will lead a walk over Cautley Spout, finishing around 1530hrs. For those less adventurous, a gentle decent back into Sedbergh for coffee and ice cream.

At 1600hrs we’ll start a family sports day next to the river at the campsite and have a BBQ with live music finishing at 2200hrs.

The event is free to everyone. Camping is free to veterans, blue light & NHS staff for the weekend (direct message to book if you are). There is no bar, so bring your own drink.
