Set beside the River Derwent and located just 20 mins from York, the site is made up of a spacious country pub, camp site and boat moorings. The site has many facilities and hosts many events ranging from weddings to Biker Rallies. Firstl

y we have the spacious pub containing a games room with pool and snooker table, tap room with open fire,stage and dancefloor, outside seating, conservatory, restaurant, wide selection of drinks and function room available. Also there is the riverside Camp Site suitable for tourer's,motorhomes and tents. Electric hook ups are available and need to be booked in advance if required. The site is children friendly with a large play area for their convenience. Dogs are welcome as long as they are controlled and kept on a lead. The site also boasts a new shower block circa 2010,finished to a high standard, it has a washer and dryer along with all the usual amenities and has disabled access and ablutions. Finally the site contains boat moorings and slip way, that are charged per foot on an anual basis. Access can be gained into river's Ouse and Humber with York being within easy reach. Fishing is also available with the river containing Roach, Perch, Bream and Pike. For any more information or to book contact

The Field is Open at The Breighton Ferry

There’s something special about this time of year… longer evenings, fresh air, and the quiet charm of the countryside returning to life. We’re pleased to say our camping field at The Breighton Ferry is now open for the 2026 season.

Whether you’re joining us for a peaceful night under canvas, a family getaway, or simply to slow things down for a while, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting.

2026 Prices:
• Adults: £8.50 per night
• Children (5–16): £5 per night
• Under 5s: Free

Settle in, take in the surroundings, and enjoy the simple pleasures with a proper pub just a short stroll away.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Captain Smurf (Mike).

Over the years he captured so many of our nights, gigs, celebrations and everyday moments through his camera. Thanks to him, many people have a gallery of memories that will be treasured for a long time to come. He had a great eye, a warm presence, and a way of making people feel at ease both in front of the lens and across the table.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We’ll miss seeing him around, camera in hand, and we’ll be raising a glass to him and the moments he helped us all remember.

Well… now we’re finally out of January 😄 it must be time to start thinking about the rest of the year!

So here it is, the Breighton Ferry 2026 events calendar 🎉

We’re delighted to share the events we’ll be hosting throughout 2026. It’s shaping up to be another cracking year, and we’re already looking forward to longer, warmer days and welcoming back familiar faces and hopefully plenty of new ones too.

We would like to invite you to celebrate New Year’s Eve with us once again.

Free camping on the night. If you would like to come the night before it will be usual prices, £8 per person per night. We cannot reserve electric.

Hey folks, its the time yiuve been waiting for...calender release!

We are pleased to share the events we will be hosting throughout 2025. This year is shaping up to be another great one and we cant wait for warmer days!

We hope to see you all again or for even for the first time😀

We do have some events to be confirmed and added but wanted to get the calendar out so you can plan out your 2025. We do have a limited number of dates available, if you want to know more please get in touch.
