I really wasn’t expecting to see this — I’ve never seen a hummingbird hawk-moth before … or that’s what I think it is! I was just on my way to the Honey Pod with some freshly ironed bedding when it caught my eye. 😍

I know it’s National Owl Day today, so I’ll try to pop the owls on live a little later too! 🦉

Well, I wasn’t expecting this to greet me this morning!🦉

I believe it’s a tawny owlet, fast asleep on top of our bird feeder. 😴

What an amazing way to start the day! Nature never fails to surprise us.

Has anyone else had an owl choose such an unusual place for a morning nap?

Hopefully you should see the owlets keep popping back and then going off exploring ... just seen one as I'm typing this!

The owlets are really building up their confidence now… I’ve even had to zoom the camera out! 🦉❤️

I heard them all calling tonight — the barn owl screech is so eerie in the darkness! I’ll try to capture a video of them flying around at night and screeching. So lucky this year with seeing them grow!

Like Number 10… it was time for a change!

After taking 19 lambs to market I spotted these little characters and couldn’t resist!

They’ve got an important job waiting for them… helping tackle the weeds in some of our paddocks. 🌱

For now they’re staying indoors while they get used to us and put on a bit more size before they head outside. At the moment they’re small enough to find every possible gap in the fencing! 😂

Now for the important bit… they need names! Go on then… any suggestions? Just for fun! 🥰
