A Weekend to Remember at Dales and Trails 🎉
What a fantastic celebration at The Shippon! Guests travelled from far and wide to mark a very special 60th birthday, enjoying a meticulously planned weekend packed with fun, laughter and memorable moments.
The festivities included a brilliant comedian, a lively silent disco, delicious catering from a talented local supplier, and the unveiling of an unforgettable birthday gift. There were scenic walks through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, a fabulous lunch at local favourite Rind Pizza, and plenty of opportunities to relax, reconnect and make new friendships.
With sunshine throughout the weekend, a little spot of "sheeping," and wonderful company, it was the perfect setting for a milestone celebration. Old friends reunited, new friendships were formed, and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

A fantastic April getaway at The Shippon brought together a group of 16 guests who originally met at university — this time with partners, children and even the dogs in tow!
From the moment they arrived at The Shippon at Dales and Trails, the group made the most of everything on offer. Days were spent exploring the stunning countryside on foot, clocking up miles of walks while soaking in the incredible views.
Back at the site, the fun continued with relaxed evenings around the campfire, plenty of laughter, and a silent disco that proved to be an unforgettable highlight for guests of all ages.
A perfect mix of adventure, friendship and family time in the heart of the Dales — memories made for everyone, two-legged and four-legged alike.
