One of our campers last week asked if we had any books to swap. We didn’t, but now we do! There’s now a little in our camping kitchen.
We’re always open to suggestions and ideas. We just need time to read some of them now!

Good luck to everyone taking part in the Pen Y Ghent Fell Race this afternoon! Will anyone beat the current record time of 47 minutes?!!

The Pen-y-ghent fell race is the first race in the Yorkshire Dales Classics Series and will be held on the 6th June 2026.

When the car parking only has 2 options... up to 3 hours, or all day!

Congratulations to Three Peaks winner Tom Evans who finished in 3:02:17

Incredible achievements all round - 567 people got round in under 6 and a half hours, despite the weather being on the hot side.

See you all again next year :)

Is there anything better than seeing the words CAKE SHED at the end of a long walk?!
Delighted that Horton now has a fantastic cake shop - right opposite the station, so great if you’ve just come off Ingleborough, or it’s only a 2 minute walk from the Rowe House! For cakes at Fourways

- Pizza and wine from the awesome new menu at Rind
- Janet’s Foss
- Malham Cove
- Gordale Scar
- Ingleborough
- Gaping Gill
- And a very well-earned pint of Guinness at The Crown, which I drank too fast for the photo 😂🤦‍♂️
