The Old Sheep House, luxury accommodation in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales

10/10/2026

We love feedback, especially from repeat guests. 🥰

We love to see how our guests decorate when they visit The Old Sheep House. 🎈Everyone does it differently and hen dos are always the best. This has to be our favourite so far though.

Our girls are all off for a winter in a warmer spot! 🐑
Off down to Dorset until the spring. Have a nice time ladies, it will be quiet without you.

School gates are open, summer chaos is over... now it’s your turn for a break. ☕️🍂

October in the Dales is pure magic—think crisp autumn walks, golden leaves, and cosy pub fires, topped off with a quiet evening soak in the hot tub. We have a few mid-week dates available this October for anyone craving a peaceful autumn reset.

Ready to trade the sofa for some serious adventure? 🧗‍♂️

We’ve teamed up with the awesome crew at Lost Earth Adventures to bring you the ultimate Yorkshire thrill ride. Tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks, try your hand at rock climbing, or plunge into gorge walking—you can even squeeze up to five activities into a single epic day!

The best part? Returning to The Old Sheep House afterwards to soak those aching muscles in the hot tub. 🫧

☔ Rain? What rain?

When you're relaxing in a hot tub with your favourite people and a drink in hand, a little Yorkshire drizzle only adds to the atmosphere. 🛁✨

The Old Sheep House is just as lovely in the rain — our guests will tell you, the hot tubs are a year-round obsession.

We love hearing from our guests! There is nothing quite like seeing a big group gather around our huge dining table or kick back in the two hot tubs after a day exploring the Dales.
