Fancy having a lovely caravan holiday at Lower Hyde, where the entertainment is professional and the caravan location is perfect for families as it's only a short walk away from the main entertainment complex? You can spend a relaxing holiday in our Atlas Mirage, 35'

x 10', 3 bedroom, Silver caravan, which can accommodate up to 8 people, or 36' x 12' ABI Arizona, 3 bedroom, Silver + caravan, which can accommodate up to 8 people or 36' x 12' BK Bluebird Purbeck, 3 bedroom, Gold caravan, which can accommodate up to 8 people. All electricity and gas is included in the price with unlimited usage. The caravans have large flat screen TV's, DVD players and gas or electric fires in the living room, and a microwave etc. The caravans offers central heating in each room. The accommodation comprises of one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a pull-out bed in the front room. Bed linen is provided, with required beds made ready for your arrival. Please note: towels, tea towels and oven gloves are not provided. Location

Lower Hyde is a Park Resorts Holiday Park, which is one of the best in UK. Use of the facilities at the neighbouring sister park of Languard is included in your stay, which includes an indoor pool and outdoor heated pool. There are plenty of activities and facilities on site, including the Water Resorts programme, Sports Resort programme, a showbar, children's club, convenience store and launderette to name merely a few.

Wow… if we were at the caravan this half term then this would be an absolute MUST for our youngest! If you happen to be visiting then I would always recommend Tapnell, it’s a fab day out… add unicorns to the mix and it’s got to be epic!

We had a great week at the caravan last week and managed to find a few new places to visit that we can recommend!
Day trips: The Needles… always a favourite of ours
Tapnell Farm… it’s fab and we love visiting here, it was great to find a few new additions since our last visit a couple of years ago now we loved the toboggan run and the mini golf
Amazon World… what’s not to love about a lemur on your head!
Butterfly World… this was a new visit for us and we loved it! Definitely somewhere we would go again
Sandown Beach … our favourite
Pirates Crazy golf at Shanklin… it’s a must for us!
The Garlic Farm… a must visit to restock on our favourite supplies
Arreton Barns … the fudge is devine!
A few dips in the pool outdoors at Lower Hyde was great and also we visited Landguard and used their outdoor pool
Places to eat:
Spyglass Inn at Ventnor
the Cow at Tapnell Farm… THE best burgers on the island without a doubt
The Hideaway at Shanklin… nice to try somewhere new, great atmosphere and service Frank loved the steak and Guinness pie!
The Steamer Inn at Shanklin… another new one for us and it’s right at the top of our list for a return visit… the food was amazing, quick service and great views

We had an awesome week over at the caravan setting it back up for the new season. Couldn’t resist a few beach days and this is one of our favourite… just 10 minutes away is Sandown beach we also enjoyed Shanklin Seafront this week with the obligatory game of pirates crazy golf as well as finding a lovely little cafe we hadn’t used before where we had chips sat by the beach. Roll on summer!
