Currently businesses only need to register for VAT if their annual turnover is over £85,000, but then need to pay VAT on all turnover. We want VAT to only be payable on turnover over the £85,000 threshold. We also only want businesses to have to pay VAT at the flat rate for their sector.

So sad to hear about the passing of Gerry Marsden.
We were fortunate to enjoy his company here at Rylstone on several occasions. One man who will “Never walk alone”. Deepest sympathy to all your family and the thousands that will miss the joy you brought into sp many lives on so many occasions.

It is with much sadness that today we said goodbye to The Lord of the Manor, our beloved Bengal Geoffrey. After having his third F.A.T.E. (Feline Arterial Thrombotic Embolism). He will be sorely missed by us (his servants and chef) our family, friends, guests at our hotel and everyone in this area. But we will fondly remember his antics and funny ways. Forever loved and in our hearts. What a cat!

We are ready and waiting to welcome guests back to the island and Rylstone Manor from the 4th July. Worried about Covid-19? Why not book the whole place out at a special rate (3 nights minimum) for up to 14 people. Its like self catering but we cook the breakfast!! Give us a call to discuss.
