🚴‍♂️ 32 Miles Around the Isle of Wight! 🏝️🐿️

What a fantastic way to spend a day on the Isle of Wight!

Today’s adventure was a 32-mile cycle ride around the Red Squirrel Trail, following miles of old disused railway lines through some absolutely beautiful parts of the island. 🚲🌳

The best bit? Around 99% of the ride is off-road, so you can just enjoy the scenery, the fresh air and the ride without worrying about traffic.

It’s a brilliant way to see a different side of the Isle of Wight — peaceful countryside, woodland, old railway routes and plenty of places to stop along the way for a well-earned drink or bite to eat. ☕🍰

32 miles in the legs, a great day out and definitely one I’d recommend if you enjoy cycling. 🚴‍♂️☀️

Now I think I’ve earned a relaxing evening back at the caravan! 😂🍻

Another fabulous weekend on the Isle of Wight… ❤️

Sunshine, sparkling seas, breathtaking views and a chance to slow down and enjoy everything this beautiful island has to offer.

From watching the waves crash onto the slipway, taking in the incredible views of The Needles, enjoying a relaxing meal overlooking the Solent, to ending the day with a stunning marina sunset – weekends like these remind us why we love having our caravan here.

On the way up to the Keep at Carisbrooke Castle…

If you’ve never done the climb up to the keep at Carisbrooke Castle, add it to your Isle of Wight list immediately!

This is one of those places where you feel the history with every step, and the views at the top are so worth it.

It’s a brilliant day out for couples, families, and anyone who loves exploring (and it’s only a short drive from our caravan).

If you’re staying with us, Carisbrooke is one of those must-do attractions that gives you a real taste of the Island’s character.
