Palm Court is in the news!
What a way to round off our first full summer in Shanklin.
Since officially opening in November 2025, we’ve welcomed families and groups from across the UK to Palm Court — and we’re delighted to now see our story featured by Hotel Owner and Island Echo , with further exposure through 10 Minutes News for Hoteliers.
And there’s plenty to celebrate.
We’ve now achieved more than 200 booked suite nights, with guests staying for an average of more than four nights, and we already have bookings secured into 2027.
Palm Court has also achieved third place nationally in the Travel Chapter Showcase Awards for Best Renovation or Transformation.
We created Palm Court to offer something a little different on the Isle of Wight — somewhere larger families and groups can stay together and enjoy much more than simply a place to sleep.
From our heated outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub to the cinema and games room, gym, private bar and spaces for everyone to come together, we wanted the stay itself to be part of the holiday.
Most importantly, we hope every Palm Court stay encourages our guests to get out and enjoy everything Shanklin and the Isle of Wight have to offer too.
A huge thank you to everyone who has stayed with us and supported us during our first year.
