Hello everyone! 🙂

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s South Yorkshire Festival such a success! ❤️

A very special thank you to all our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to support us throughout the day:

🚗 Rotary Club – for doing a fantastic job helping us manage the car parking.

⛰️ Mountain Rescue – for supporting our children’s activities and helping us make sure everything ran safely.

✈️ Air Cadets – for helping us with setting up, keeping our beautiful grounds clean and supporting us throughout the day.

🛍️ A massive thank you also goes to all of our wonderful stallholders and vendors who joined us and helped create such a brilliant atmosphere around the Hall and gardens!

🎭🎺🐐 And, of course, thank you to everyone who provided our fantastic entertainment and activities throughout the day, including Branching Out Dancing, All Creatures Animal Experience, Dress It Yourself, Claire for the face painting, Claire for the hair braiding and glitter tattoos, Unite Brass Band, and Benjamin! You all played a huge part in making the festival such an enjoyable day, particularly for all the children and families who joined us. 🥰

We would also like to say a very special thank you to our sponsors and loyal clients – UNISON, GMB, Thompsons Solicitors and Unite the Union. Your continued support of Wortley Hall and the South Yorkshire Festival means so much to us and is hugely appreciated. 🤝

This year’s festival was a fantastic success! Not only were we able to provide a brilliant family day out with lots of FREE children’s entertainment 🎨🎈, but the event also generated valuable funds that can be reinvested into the restoration and preservation of Wortley Hall, helping us protect this very special place for future generations. ❤️

An event of this size genuinely takes a huge number of people working together behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful to every single person who gave their time, support and energy to making the day happen. 🙏
