💚 There’s more than one way to check in at a hotel…

And last week, we were checking in on each other.

For our Mental Health Awareness Week, our DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City team took some time out of their busy days to focus on something just as important as looking after our guests. Looking after ourselves and each other.
We swapped the hotel corridors for a wellness walk around the stadium, explored the benefits of mindfulness and rounded off the week with a few well-deserved sweet treats. 🍪

Because in hospitality, we spend so much of our time making sure everyone else feels welcome, comfortable and cared for. Sometimes, it’s important to turn that same care towards the people we work alongside every day.

And while the activities were lovely, the real value was in taking time to connect, have a conversation and remind each other that a simple “How are you doing?” can go a long way.

After all, a warm welcome starts with a team that feels supported. 💚

Prom Showcase this Thursday 🎊

This Thursday, our Oak Ballroom will be dressed for Prom 2027. Drop in from 4:30pm - 7pm to explore the ballroom, see our private pre-function area and bar, and picture the full evening from arrival to the final song.

Lilie and the team will be here to talk through packages, guest numbers, catering and all the practical details. There’ll also be canapés and a welcome drink while you look around.

Planning something other than a prom? You’re very welcome too. If an awards evening, gala dinner, milestone birthday or another celebration is on your list, this is a great opportunity to see the space dressed and meet the people who’ll help bring it together.

A 12pm kick-off means Sunday starts on Bramall Lane. 🔴⚪

Before the Blades take on Wolves, there’s important matchday preparation to take care of: a bacon sandwich, a pint of Guinness and plenty of talk about the starting eleven.

Call it breakfast. Call it pre-match fuel. Either way, we’ll be ready to welcome you before the short walk to the turnstiles.

What’s your tipple of choice with a bacon sandwich?
