Huthwaite Snug is a renovated farmhouse which is now more like a big cottage. We are nestled in the quaint South Yorkshire village of Thurgoland, 10 minutes from Sheffield and 5 minutes from Pen*stone.

Is it autumn already? We've been busy landscaping here and getting the front of the house ready for our future guests. Everything is looking wonderful. Photographs to follow.

We're working hard to improve the front of the house this summer. It's south facing and a great place to watch the world go by during the summer evenings. This week we're painting the window frames and door in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe. We have a little bee door knocker too :-)
