Guests staying at Cherry Cottage CK this weekend might like to visit the beautiful open garden event in the historic village of Cerne Abbas a 10 minute drive.

This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to explore a variety of private gardens, each with its own character and charm.

Combine with a stroll around the picturesque village, a visit to the famous giant and a stop at one of the pubs for lunch.

We keep Cherry Cottage CL small on purpose — just five vans, each on a serviced pitch with water, electric hook-up and Wifi. 2 pitches are hard-standing, remaining level well drained lawn. 🐾 A beautiful day for a walk at Cherry Cottage CL
Our dog walk is looking particularly lovely today under clear blue Dorset skies.

The mown path around the hay meadow makes it perfect for early morning or evening stroll with your four-legged friends. The grasses and wildflowers are in bloom and butterflies 🦋 are dancing across the meadow. A real sense of summer today.

One of the things our guests love is being able to enjoy walks in the countryside. It’s a chance to slow down, relax and enjoy nature.

If you’re looking for a peaceful CL where dogs are as welcome as their humans we’d love to see you.

We love welcoming dogs at Cherry Cottage CL — and their humans too. Gentle, lead-friendly walk around our hay meadow and walks starting from the entrance gates, we have maps available so you can explore at your own pace. Quiet grounds mean calm mornings. After a stroll, pop into nearby pub for a spot of lunch or evening meal, or cafe for breakfast both welcome dogs.
