Located on the edge of the Mendip Hills National Trust area of outstanding natural beauty, The Swan is a 17-century Grade II listed inn, with the recent addition of five stunning boutique bedrooms above the pub, and a further four dog-friendly rooms in its converted barns (one accessible). A haven for walkers, cyclists and locals alike, The Swan is all about delicious food - pub classics and seasonal/local produce are a focus - with a cosy, welcoming vibe and plenty of award-winning Butcombe beer on the taps.

What an evening with , celebrating our collaboration b**r, Hops & Glory, at the debut ‘Battle of the Brewers’ event at The Prince of Burford!

Guests enjoyed a fantastic selection of b**rs from both breweries, perfectly paired with canapés, while hearing the stories from behind each brew from the experts who brought them to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special- we can’t wait to do it all again at the sold-out Battle of the Brewers event at The Punch Bowl in London. See you there! 🍻

We're delighted to share that both The George Inn and The Swan Inn have been named finalists in the Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Gloucestershire Tourism Awards. The awards celebrate the very best hospitality and tourism businesses across the region, recognising excellence in customer experience, quality, innovation and outstanding service.

As part of our Butcombe Boutique Inns collection, The George Inn and The Swan are passionate about creating memorable stays, combining beautiful, boutique bedrooms, exceptional food and drink and warm, welcoming hospitality in some of the South West's most characterful locations.
