Allows two well-behaved dogs at Brummell Barn. Enclosed back courtyard with brick BBQ. Rowborough Cottage has a large garden with a patio area and brick BBQ. No dogs allowed at this cottage. Brummell Barn sleeps 12 ( suggested max 11 adults) in 5 bedrooms with four bathrooms. It is designed as a family holiday venue but can host groups of adults comfortably. Rowborough Cottage sleeps 5 people in three bedrooms with two bathrooms and downstairs toilet. It is situated about 200m away from the farm towards Newport.

🐐Whoever thought they would love Pygmy goats in the garden then please take note! 😂 Basil and Sage are certainly at home amongst the parsley and the flowers! 🌸

Born 3 weeks ago today they are extremely tame and cheeky now - but they do live in the paddock really!

Come and stay with us to have play with them and swim in our heated indoor pool, have a tranquil woodland walk in the wild garlic and bluebells, and a wonderful relaxing break with family and friends in one of our three fantastic self-catering cottages on the Isle of Wight.

Outside enjoying the sunshine!☀️

All doing fine but it’s been a tricky weekend trying to get the kids to suckle from a bottle with limited success and to get mum Penny to bond with them (also with limited success!) but today the big kid Basil was sucking well from a bottle and then a miracle ….. the tiny white kid (Sage) started to suckle from his mother when I held her on my lap which wasn’t easy - but we had a little victory!🏅😅

Hoping things get easier as the days go on - 6 feeds a day are a bit of a challenge ☺️

🐐Goat News!🐐
After a rather traumatic weekend with our Pygmy goat Penny unable to deliver her kids normally (Basil was just unusually big!) resulting in an emergency C Section at the vets 😬
We are delighted to say that both the kids survived and she is doing well. However, despite early signs that she would accept the kids (not her first time) she has not allowed them to feed so we have been feeding them every 3-4 hours (day and night!) and they are reluctant to suck from a bottle despite being healthy and quite strong. So fingers crossed mum and kids will soon bond otherwise we have our work cut out for a while🤞🐐

🔥Come and have a relaxing break in a beautiful rural cottage on the Isle of Wight and warm your toes in front of a woodburning stove with unlimited wood supply.

We have decided to open Rowborough Cottage (sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms) for January and early February without use of the indoor pool at the farm.

Our other two cottages are closed due to maintenance work. You would be welcome to visit the animals at the farm and make use of the games room and playground as well as walk or cycle on our 750 acres in a beautiful AONB.
