It's always heartening to see the first blossom of the year; this is on the apricot tree. This, along with plums, apples, damson and cherry, are all in the garden for our guests to enjoy

Did you know the Boat House Lodge has a laundry room and dog wash facilities?

Located in the garage beneath the lodge, the laundry room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for muddy walking clothes or longer stays.

If you’ve been out exploring with your dog, there’s also a shower head and complimentary dog towels, so muddy paws can be cleaned up before heading back inside.

It’s all part of making your stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
