Wow, what a Bank Holiday weekend that was! ☀️🍻

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — whether for an overnight stay, a meal, or simply a drink in our fabulous beer garden. It was certainly a busy one!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to our hardworking staff. Working tirelessly in the heat all weekend, they have been absolutely amazing.

If you’re planning on visiting us soon, as always, we recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

☀️ 🔥 Slow Food Summer Fiesta! 🔥 ☀️

Join us for our 2026 summer sizzling event!

This summer we return back to our spiritual home, deep in the Shropshire Hills, the in Ratlinghope just outside of Shrewsbury! Surrounded by stunning Shropshire hills, a meandering stream and a picture perfect pub, we are thrilled to be returning again this year!

Our Slow Food values align deeply with the pub’s menus, sourcing locally from small scale producers as well as from their own Linley Farm.

Many of our exceptional Slow Food business members will be joining us for this summer jamboree, which promises to offer engaging informal talks and tastings as well as opportunities to purchase on the day.

New for 2026, we are hosting an early evening, outdoor fire feast headed up by local chefs and producers! A new event not to be missed!

​The first wave of the Farmer Phil’s 2026 lineup has landed! We’re heading back to the Shropshire Hills for another year of music, magic, and the best festival community in the UK.

📅 Main Event: 7th – 9th August
⛺ Camping: From Monday 3rd August (Make a week of it!)
