Join the team at Darwin Townhouse, our award-winning 19-room hotel in the heart of Shrewsbury.

🏆 AA 5 Star Award
🏆 AA 5 Star Breakfast Award

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly individual to help us maintain the exceptional standards our guests know and love.

📅 Regular shifts:
• Sunday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
• Monday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

✨ Additional hours available during holiday cover, including opportunities at our sister property, The Loopy Shrew.

The role includes:
🛏️ Servicing guest bedrooms
🧹 Cleaning communal areas
🍳 Assisting with breakfast service
🏨 Supporting the day-to-day running of the hotel

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

🕵️‍♂️ We’ve been on quite the investigation here at Darwin’s Townhouse… and this one was suspiciously exciting!

We were delighted to welcome former undercover detective and Hunted star Peter Bleksley during his tour “The Makings of a Murderer”. Fresh from captivating audiences at Theatre Severn, he checked into Darwin’s—and don’t worry, no need for a stakeout… we had him checked in under our watch all along. 😉

If you’re heading to Shrewsbury for an upcoming show at Theatre Severn, Darwin’s Townhouse is the perfect place to stay… centrally located, full of character, and ideal for a discreet getaway. And who knows—you might even bump into a star of the show.
