The building was one of the first regency houses to be constructed on the Sidmouth seafront in 1775 and was originally the Wallis’ Marine Library. It is now owned by us, the Pyne family, who took it on in 1990 and are third generation farmers from Budleigh Salterton, just a stones throw away from the hotel.
