⛔️NOW BOOKED SORRY⛔️

🌟 CANCELLATION ALERT!!!

Just a quick shout out about the latest cancellation to come in to Seagreen, and it’s a BIG ONE!!!!

It’s our New Year Stay 😱

Can you imagine spending New Year’s Eve in the cabin with the fire pit lit and the food cooking.

Pop the bubbly and relax with your favourite tunes and great conversation.

Then on New Year’s Day, cook up a family meal in the kitchen where everyone can get together and then enjoy fun in the games room or maybe plan a movie night.

Not to mention days spent on the beach, day trips to the Lake District or just relaxing in the house.

And with enough room for 10 guests and all the furry ones, everyone can come along.

Sadly our regular New Year Guests have had to cancel this year so it’s up for grabs, which has been unheard of since we opened 6 years ago 😮

🙋‍♀️Hello June...

We have a busy month at Seagreen, with back to back bookings.

We have 5 bookings : 3 newbies, 1 returning and US!!

There will be 25 guests and 13 dogs staying this month and we hope they all have a wonderful holiday.

The end of this month sees the start of the Scottish school holidays so the fun times will begin and the World Cup starts too!!

We may be full this year for June but we still have a few weeks left next year, so if these are the dates for you then just let us know by commenting below.

19th to 26th June 2027
26th June to 3rd July 2027

📍Location, Location, Location...

Seagreen is blessed with the perfect location. Sitting on the edge of Silloth town, but still close to all the shops, pubs and eateries.

Take a look from the front windows and you can see the 18th hole of the golf course and club house.

The beauty of Seagreen is the privacy and peace. Sitting in the garden, you feel a world away from the stresses of life, but within minutes from the front door, you are on the green or enjoy the seafront views.

It would be quite easy to spend a full week at Seagreen and never leave the house, but if you do wish to venture out and about then you have so much within driving distance.

Travel to the lakes and visit Keswick with the dog friendly Hope Park Games and Cafe, or search for the Gruffalo at Whinlatter - Forestry England and enjoy a bite to eat at the Cafe Ambio, Whinlatter Forest.

Take in the stunning views at Buttermere or Dodd Wood and have a fun day out at the Lake District Wildlife Park, stopping off at The Lakes Distillery for a whiskey tour or lunch in the Bistro.

Take a scenic drive along the coast to Allonby with the sandwich shop or Twentymans Ice Cream. Enjoy some great pub food at Jacks Surf Bar Costa Allonby or pop into dog friendly The Ship Hotel Allonby .

Drive a little further to Maryport and enjoy a great family day out with the Lake District Coast Aquarium, Maryport followed by a round of crazy golf and then pop into the Harboursde Café, Lake District Coast Aquarium, Maryport for tea and cake.

Book yourself into West Coast Indoor Karting Maryport for family competition and then stop off at The Lifeboat Inn Maryport for some great pub food.

How about Carlisle for some shopping, visit the Castle or Cathedral or enjoy the latest film at the cinema. Let the younger ones enjoy the Fusion trampoline park or drive to Talkin Tarn Country Park.

Drive a little further to Bowness on Solway and visit Hadrian's wall or why not visit Scotland, with its romantic Gretna Green or scenic Southerness.

The location of Seagreen is perfect, and with a peaceful atmosphere and slower pace of life, you can't help but relax and have fun. The only problem you may have is that you won't want to come home 😬

🥳 Let's Eat Out Tonight...

🍟Fancy a night with no cooking? Want to get dressed up and go out? Then take a look at our recommendations for a great meal out during your stay...

The Bank of Silloth
If you want that special night out, where you feel like you are on holiday, with great food and outstanding service, then book a table at The Bank Tapas Restaurant. Order at least 2 dishes per person and share in true Tapas style. Order some cocktails and be sure to leave room for dessert. The Bank is extremely popular so book your table well in advance by simply sending them a message.

Greenview Guest House
If you are looking for somewhere to make special memories, then Stella's Bistro at Greenview Guest house is the place to go. Take pre-dinner drinks in the parlour, then dine in the intimate restaurant. Graeme is your host and will regale you with tales of Silloth and his Mum, the inspirations for Stella's.

Cumberland Inn, Silloth
Our local pub is a great place to eat out, with delicious home-cooked food, a great choice of drinks and the best desserts we have ever found. You will always be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home, doggo friendly too so no one needs to feel left out.

Joiners arms - Newton arlosh
This pub restaurant is about a 15 minute drive from Seagreen and serves an amazing menu which regularly changes so you are always impressed. Doggo friendly too so even the furry ones can join in.

The Near Boot Inn, Whiteclosegate, Carlisle
This has to be our favourite carvery Sunday lunch ever, dog friendly too and not far from Carlisle so make a day of it. The starters and dessert didn't disappoint either and the service was extremely friendly and welcoming.

The Old Ginn House.
Take a drive along the coast to Workington and visit the Old Ginn House. We liked it so much here, we visited twice in one week! A great menu with specials to tempt everyone.

Bari at Bird in Hand
If you are looking for an exceptional Indian restaurant, then head over to Wigton and and enjoy a night out. We haven't had the chance to visit yet, but many of our guests have been and the feedback has been very positive.

Daniel’s Seafood and Grill
Now this place is well worth a visit!!! Great atmosphere, outstanding service and delicious food. You have to visit to know just how good this place is. About a 40 minute drive but so worth it.

🐠 🐓 Chicken foot or salmon skin???

Maisie picked up some treats from WOLF-IZ and had the choice of a salmon skin or chicken foot…

It took her a while to decide but she finally got there and enjoyed her treat.

Wolf-iz is just a short walk from Seagreen and is well stocked with lots of natural treats.

Not only will you find some in the doggo welcome basket on arrival, but then you can pop over to their shop and pick up more 🥳

🙋‍♀️ On Saturday, we said a sad goodbye to Pamela and her family following a birthday celebration week in Silloth.

We send them all a great big thank you for being perfect guests and for sharing these wonderful photos with us of their stay.

We can’t wait to have them back next year for another stay 🥳

Then we said a big hello to Sara and her family and we have children back at Seagreen 🥳 for the half term holidays.

We hope they have a wonderful stay.
