🙋‍♀️Hello September…

We have a busy month at Seabreeze, with back to back bookings.

We have 6 bookings, 1 newbie, 4 returning and Barry and Bernadette.

There will be 19 guests and 12 dogs staying this month and we hope they all have a wonderful holiday.

The town now starts to quieten and everything relaxes as our autumn guests arrive.

😍 DOG FRIENDLY SEASIDE HOLIDAY COTTAGE

🙋‍♀️Are you looking for a holiday in a seaside town, only moments from the seafront.

👍At Seabreeze Cottage, there is something to keep everyone happy, from the lounge with smart tv, comfy sofa and stunning views over the green, to the pool table to keep everyone entertained.

🫶The open plan kitchen is spacious enough for any family get-together, and when the patio doors are opened, the party can move to the garden and enjoy food from the stone barbecue.

🐶Dogs are welcome too, so bring along the furry ones and let them explore the dog friendly beach and town which is only a few minutes walk away.

Location: Silloth in Cumbria, 5 minutes from the beach and town, 40 minutes drive to the Lakes.

☀️ The garden at Seabreeze is tucked behind the cottage and is enclosed with wall and fence.

You can spend relaxed mornings enjoying breakfast outside, take a snooze on the sun loungers during sunny afternoons, and fire up the barbecue in the summer evenings and dine under the stars.

With a side gate and a back gate to keep the little ones and furry ones safe, a hose for rinsing off sandy feet and paws and a washing line when it's laundry time, the garden is practical too.

We hope you love our garden at Seabreeze and get to enjoy it with family and friends during your stay.

🥰 Ernie is coming back to Seabreeze!!!!

🐶 We absolutely love our furry guest, Ernie.

🐶 He visited Seabreeze last week and had a great stay.

🥰 We are happy to announce that Ernie’s hooman has booked another stay and he will be back next year!!!!

🙏 The greatest compliment we can receive is when a guest books a returning stay, so we send Kate and Ernie a great big thank you.

🕺 Just off to do my celebratory happy dance !!

🐶 Flossy's adventures...

How pampered are our furry guests you may ask...

VERY PAMPERED!!!

Flossy had a great stay at Seabreeze and got to relax in the garden.

Not only did she claim one of the sun loungers for her afternoon snooze, but mum brought out the dog bed too so she would be extra comfy.

So if you are wondering if your furry ones are welcome at Seabreeze, then think of Flossy and how she got to live her best life on holiday in Silloth.

We send lots of love and cuddles to Flossy and a great big thank you to her hoomans for sharing Flossy's adventures with us.

Just as an extra note, Flossy now has a Seabreeze dog bed all of her own at home...well, nearly all of her own, she does have to share it with the cats in the family 🤣

🥰 Our Story....

This exciting journey began in 2022, when we decided to look for a little sister for Seagreen.

It took a while, searching listings, a few viewings and we even got close to buying another, until Seabreeze finally became a possibility.

We had been friends with Barry and Bernadette for years and they were the perfect partners for this project. They have furry ones of their own, so understand what it takes to be super dog friendly and they brought fresh excitement and lots of ideas.

We had kept a close eye on Seabreeze for years as it went from a loved home to a deteriorated broken cottage. And then in June 2023, it was finally going to auction.

Barry jumped into action and called the auction house so many times, they knew him by name 🤣 finally, our offer was accepted and Seabreeze became ours on 22nd June 2023.

There were no keys, no back windows and no floor in parts of the broken cottage. It still had a little pink toilet, original light shades and a front door that was nailed shut, but we saw the potential.

Week by week, the cottage progressed, with Martyn and his amazing team of builders putting the cottage back together. They built walls, added ceilings, filled in floors. They even took down some walls and removed a couple of doors.

Dave and Simon added the modern shower rooms, and Mark installed doors, floors and our amazing kitchen. Mark even added our bench in the kitchen as a space for coats, shoes and a place to relax with a morning coffee.

It was soon time to paint and fill the cottage ready for guests as Martyn and his team moved onto the garden. Bernadette was our chief purchaser, finding so many unique and beautiful pieces for the cottage to make it feel like home.

Barry was then in charge of the power drill, from curtain poles, to TVs, to all the fabulous wall art that Bernadette had found. Soon, the cottage felt like a home and we could take a long look at what we had created.

Finally, on the 18th of March 2024, our first guests arrived along with their furry baby. They tested Seabreeze thoroughly for us and the feedback was incredible. We added lots more to Seabreeze at their request and were so pleased with their seal of approval.

We send Lorraine, Phil and Tilly a huge thank you for being our first guests and for trusting us with their holiday.


Seabreeze has been very busy with so many guests since then and we send a huge thank you to everyone who has booked a stay.
