Well it’s been a difficult couple of days 🥲

As we were only a few weeks away from announcing an opening date for Cobblestones, we were sure nothing could stop us.

Sadly, we were wrong and a serious problem has be uncovered that means going ahead is impossible.

We want to send everyone a huge thank you for supporting us and sharing our short Cobblestones journey.

We haven’t given up and are still actively searching for Seagreen 2, we will keep you updated with our progress and hopefully the next one will be a success.

We are going to take a few days to pull ourselves together and feel sorry for ourselves but then we will get back on to our search.

We are a firm believer in everything happens for a reason so we will wait to see what happens next with the Seagreen family.

We will close this page but keep it on hold ready for our next project.

⚓️Plan a day out to Buttermere during your stay at Cobblestones.

⚓️About 50 minutes drive from Cobbletones , take a scenic walk around the lake or stop off in the Bridge hotel for pie and a pint or the Croft House Farm Cafe (dog friendly) for tea and a scone.

⚓️Buttermere can be very popular and become quite busy in peak season so we recommend you head out early and make the most of the day.

⚓️Our first Cobblestones newsletter went out today and we hope you love all the behind the scenes information and a few photos not yet posted on our page.

⚓️Going forward, our newsletter will keep you updated with anything new at Cobblestones, our availability and those last minute cancellations.

⚓️One of the reasons why Cobblestones is the perfect place to stay is location...location....location...I am sure I have heard that somewhere before 🤔🤣

⚓️Sitting in Town, Cobblestones is only a short walk from everything you could need.

⚓️Let's talk food...
From takeaways such as Marios of Silloth pizza place, to the local fish and chip shop Silloth Cafe, or if you want a special evening out look no further than The Bank of Silloth or Greenview Guest House. Looking for great pub food where you can take the furry ones then visit the Cumberland Inn, Silloth and for children it doesn't get better than The Fairydust Emporium Silloth. For cake and a coffee visit Mrs Wilson’s Of Silloth or pop to the deli and pick up some lunch from NO 17 Deli cieux.

⚓️For cocktails visit The Golf Hotel Silloth and enjoy some great food too, or fancy a pint then visit the Balmoral Hotel Silloth where your furry friend is also very welcome.

⚓️We can't forget Silloth's fantastic post office where you can withdraw cash, post a parcel, pick up a souvenir or enjoy tea and cake.

⚓️Need some supplies then pop into Jaybee Blake everything shop and pick up whatever you need from crisps and chocolate to toiletries and toys. You can also find Co-op and Spa for lots more necessities.

⚓️Don't forget that Cobblestones is so close to the sea that if you look real careful you can see it from the front windows. Head left from the door to go to the beach or right for the seafront.

⚓️Why not spend the day on Silloth Green, play a few games, visit the Silloth Amusement Arcade, enjoy the summer fun fair and grab an icecream from the ice cream parlour.

⚓️Fancy a pamper then book into Blossom Holistic Therapies or top 2 toe beauty salon.

⚓️We also have two small museums in town, for the motorbike enthusiast, we have Silloth Motorcycle Museum and we also have the Soldiers in Silloth Museum.

⚓️Take a stroll along the promenade, enjoy the stunning sea view and stop off at the Big Fella to get your photograph taken.

⚓️For a bit of competition, there are tennis courts on the Green and a football pitch too or book yourself some time on the Multi Use Games Area.

⚓️Add to this a chemist, tattoo parlour, Cumbria Life Casting, butchers, Berry’s Bakery, 3 playgrounds, a splash pad, pagoda and Fairy trail.

⚓️Let's not forget the icing on the cake when it comes to the location of Cobblestones. The house is only a very short walk from Silloth on Solway Golf Club, with an amazing course, fully stocked shop, the Leitch Lounge & Restaurant for the most delicious food and Simon Williamson Golf Professional for all your golfing needs.

⚓️ It’s changeover day over in Seagreen today and this weeks guests were kind enough to share these stunning photos of Silloth beach with us.

⚓️ Silloth beach is only a 5 minute walk from Cobblestones and is quiet all year round.

⚓️ We are now taking provisional bookings from June onwards so just send us a message to get your stay booked.

⚓️ We can’t wait until we can announce our first changeover day at Cobblestones 🎉 Will it be you packing your bags and heading for Silloth beach?
