The Crown

Following our decision last February to offer The Crown, Silverdale for sale, we can now confirm that, after two years, the pub has found a new owner. This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. The pub landscape has changed a great deal in recent years, and as a local brewery we’re now focusing on suburban and town-centre pubs where our brewery tap model feels most at home.

We will always look back on our time at The Crown with real fondness. It will remain an important chapter in our Joule’s story, and we’ll treasure the many pints shared and memories made with our loyal customers there.

Thank you for your support over the years.

Afternoon folks
The team are very busy today carrying out some essential maintenance, so unfortunately we will not be able to open as planned.

However, we can't wait to see you all tomorrow for a catch up over a pint when we will be open for our normal hours once more

HI ALL.
We are pleased to let you all know we are open from 12 pm on the sat 4th July. BUT there are a few things that have been Put in place for your safety and ours so please take a look on arrival to the pub you will be asked to leave your name and phone number which will be kept for 21 days then destroyed we ask you to sanatize your hands on arrival. There will be a one way system in place follow the markings. there will be no standing at the bar of in the pub seating only more than welcome to stand or sit in the beer garden. These measures are in guidance with the government covid 19 risk assessment. Please adhere to the social distancing and enjoy your time with us as allways we look forward to seeing you. shas and roy

We can’t believe 12 months have passed since we celebrated the Coopers Tavern winning CAMRA and Historic England’s Pub Design Award for Conservation.
Over the years we have received five CAMRA Pub Design awards, no other small English Brewery has this many to their name.
