Dear guests and friends of The Rufford,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved June Chappel, who departed this life peacefully this morning. June touched the hearts of everyone she encountered with her boundless warmth, kindness, and spirit.

Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of friendship, love, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts. We were truly fortunate to have shared our lives with such a beautiful soul.

When we know the details of the funeral.arrangements, we will pass them on.

June Chappel, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being a radiant part of our lives. Rest in peace you will always be the youngest senior citizen we have ever known xx

Shortlist announced for The Tourism Excellence Awards 2024-25 has been announced.
We are proud to tell you that we have been shortlisted for B&B and guest house of the year award from Destination Lincolnshire and Discover Rutland, accredited by VisitEngland .
Fingers crossed for next February when the announcements will be made it is a surprise to say the least and such an honour to be recognised in this way.
