Congratulations to Miss Lauren Hayward for winning the August running of Thornwell Golf Challenge with an unbeatable score of 25. Joint 2nd place went to Mrs Carol Addison & Mr William Hayward with a score of 26. We have been told (by Billy the kid) that Mr Hayward should have won but made a mess of the last hole.🎉🎉🥇🥈🥈

Another great holiday with the Chappells, Robertsons & the Gaffneys from Hartlepool.
The weather wasn't that good for dance practice but the company was brilliant. See you all again in June....😱😱🤣🤣

Congratulations to Mrs Carol Addison on winning the Thornwell Challenge Ten Pin Bowling competition with a score of 126.
2nd went to Mr William Hayward (Billy the Kid) with a score of 110.
3rd went to Mrs Lynne Elliott with a score of 88.
4th went to Mrs Irene Hayward with a score of 82.
N.B. I know the trophy is an out door bowls trophy, but it's the only one we have.....

Congratulations to Mr William Hayward (Billy the Kid) on winning the May running of the Thornwell Challenge Golf Competition, with an unbeatable score of 26.
2nd place went to Mr Barry Parker with a score of 28.
3rd place went to Mrs Carol Addison with a score of 30.
Well done to the competitors who had to cope with some appalling weather conditions.
N.B. Some players(Mr Parker) were unhappy with a ruling on ball placement & may take this to a Court of Arbitration for Sport for clarification.

Congratulations to Mrs Ann Hayward for winning the Thornwell Villa 10 Pin Bowling Competition with an unbeatable score of 99. No one could have predicted that...😱😱😂😂 2nd was Mr William Hayward with a score of 84. Joint 3rd was Mrs Irene Hayward & Mrs C Addison with a score of 78. Well done to all the competitors (it is believed that Mr B Parker was the umpire, or watching the football 🤔🤔).
