Long post alert sorry.
Summer is over and I’m soo happy it is.
Summer has not been good to us and the caravan has certainly been mistreated.
Items missing.
Cleaning items (new 2 weeks ago, believe me no one cleaned that’s for sure)
Hairdryer
Hoover charger
1 pint glass
2 w**e corks
1 potato p*eler
1 kingsize sheet
2 pillow cases
5 garden lights
Kids bedroom light, remote found broken.
Things damaged.
Twin Bedroom wall deep scratch taking off the wallpaper.
Living room rug, replaced due to dog wee.
1 double sheet ripped
1 kingsize mattress protector.
2 single mattress protectors (fag burns - found the bud in the bedside table)
Both living room chairs also had to be fixed due to the legs being weakened. Will need replacing at some point.
Most of this happened in the last 2 weeks. It’s Heartbreaking to be treated this Way when I go above and beyond to provide a beautiful and clean caravan for people to stay in, this isn’t just a cheap bog standard caravan and even if it was there is no excuse. This is a 44 thousand pound top of the range holiday home. That I have put my heart and soul into.
It’s also been deep cleaned twice this summer when I have visited on the few days I had available due to being booked out. Cleaner did the rest of the cleans. Thank you DT Cleaning Services for all your hard work doing the changeover cleans in between guests, you definitely made my summer easier.

The Last time I went was 2
Weeks ago, turned up yesterday to find sticky stuff all up the walls, floors and ceilings, mud in the bedrooms and hallway, p*e stains on the mattress in the Master bedroom and p*e on rug in the living room and god knows what was on the light switches. Windows left open , door left unlocked and they left 2 days early so the caravan was just left open and unsecured.
I was awake till 2am this morning cleaning everything I could with the upholstery cleaner and then did another 4 hours of cleaning this morning, before travelling 3 hours home. Can’t believe the state of it.
UKcaravans4hire better be putting that security bond back in place because this has by far been the worst year since owning it and merging with Skye’s cottages removed the security bond meaning people don’t give a damn.
Let’s hope the Autumn season treats her better.
