Lola 5 years old was born with a brain tumour and had it removed at 6 months old to which she was left disabled, she uses a wheelchair to get around as she's unmobile. Lola has hydrocephalus and has a voice shunt, she needs 24 hour care and is none verbal.

The request came in to visit the Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Caravan of Courage:

"As a family with children with additional needs, we don't get to do much as family, it would be lovely to spend time together"

The visit was granted and the family had a lovely time. "It's been so nice to get away, the kids loved it"

Another glowing smile completed after Stevie had a lovely visit to the Caravan of Courage. Matts Mission Children's Charity Adapted Holiday Home Respite.

"It’s such an amazing thing u do to help the children and families, we really appreciated our break away, lovely site nice and peaceful and plenty to do with kids in the area"

Next year will be 1️⃣0️⃣ years of giving these breaks to Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow families and so much difference has been made.

Areena is the latest beneficiary to visit the Matts Mission Children's Charity Adapted Holiday Home Respite. Caravan of Courage. She enjoyed the beach, the club, and the characters and loved the Caravan of Courage Holiday Home. ⛱️ We still have dates in September and October for anyone wanting to book, charity families take priority but public hire is also available to generate funds.

Our Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Caravan of Courage 6 berth adapted holiday home is available now this this Monday to Friday at Golden Palm Resort as the young lad who was booked in is to poorly to visit. If any of our families would like a free visit then get in touch or families can register with us and visit. It is also open to public hire £340 to generate funds for the charity.

Priority given to families registered with the charity and Cancer, Palletive, Wheelchair users.

The latest beneficiary to use the Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Matts Mission Children's Charity Adapted Holiday Home Respite. ⛱️

"We had a great time in your lovely caravan and extremely grateful that we got to stay in it again.
Bobby absolutley loved it!
He didnt want to come home.
He is non verbal but can communicate the odd word or two
He said eastville road has finished!!!
Which is our home address and basically hes saying he didnt want to come home!
So that is how we know he has enjoyed himself.
It was hard work keeping him safe with no locks on doors windows etc.
He has no sense of danger so he would just go and walk/run straight into a road.
What an amazing man you are doing what you do for all these most special precious children & families!
So a huge thank you again for making my son a happy, giggly, smiley boy this week making memories & having quality time together.
