☀️ Heatwave Advice for Caravan Owners & Guests ☀️
With the warmer weather expected, please take extra care during the heatwave and help keep yourselves, others, and the park safe.
🌡️ Stay Cool • Keep blinds/curtains closed during the hottest part of the day.
• Open windows and vents in the evening to let cooler air circulate.
• Drink plenty of water and avoid too much alcohol in the heat.
• Never leave children or pets alone in caravans or vehicles.
🐶 Pets • Ensure pets always have access to fresh water and shade.
• Please avoid walking dogs during the hottest times of the day.
• Remember pavements and decking can become extremely hot.
🔥 Fire Safety • Charcoal and gas BBQs are permitted but must be used responsibly and never left unattended.
• Please keep BBQs well away from caravans, decking, grass, and any flammable items.
• Ensure BBQs are fully extinguished and cold before disposal.
• Dispose of ci******es safely and never throw them onto grassed areas.
• Dry grass can catch fire very quickly in hot weather.
⚡ Electrical Safety • Avoid overloading sockets with fans or cooling appliances.
• Ensure vents around fridges and appliances are kept clear for airflow.
🚐 Around Site • Please continue to keep to the 5mph speed limit around the park.
• Be mindful of others enjoying the warmer weather.
