As you all know we are currently closed to caravans and only have limited openings in our pods due to the Environment Agency building a bridge in the village.

We obviously have to keep ourselves busy so the fabulous team are on a mission to renovate and tittivate the site. How about a sneaky peek at the first one? 😉

Fossil Hunting is back for summer 🐚

Join us on the Skinningrove coastline for a family fossil hunting adventure with Land of Iron.

Walk down onto a beach that was once home to millions of prehistoric creatures, far beneath a tropical sea. Comb the beach with our staff and volunteers to find fossils, or even a nodule of ironstone if you’re lucky.

Each session has been timed so that it finishes at low tide, giving us the best chance to explore the shore safely and search for fossils, ironstone and other interesting finds.

Equipment is provided by Land of Iron, but please bring wellies or suitable footwear. If it is sunny, remember to bring sun cream.

🦀 Rock Pooling
Tuesday 26 May, 10am to 12pm
Explore the rock pools with our friendly staff and volunteers, and see what coastal creatures you can find.
