Easy walk up Fountains Fell with all Yorkshire 3 Peaks in the distance. Up onto Fountains Tarn and back. Great little walk close by.

Malham Cove is a short 20 minute drive from Riverside View. (You can walk there if you’re feeling energetic!) It was formed by a waterfall carrying meltwater from glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age more than 12,000 years ago. Today it is a well-known beauty spot within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A large limestone pavement is above the cove. You can also walk from there to Janet’s Foss and Malham Tarn. Just one of the walks to explore.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst you do the Y3P, then take a look at Riverside View Settle. Just over a 10 minute drive to Horton as well as being a 10 minute walk into the centre of Settle where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants, takeaways.
Located in a newly built home, on a quiet no through road on the banks of the River Ribble in Settle, a Large double room with King size bed and private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities as well as mini fridge for fresh milk.
You can have full use of the house, which means, you can eat in or out, prepare food for your challenge the night before or in the morning. Breakfast of cereals, toast, croissants, juice always provided.
I am getting some lovely feedback from Y3P walkers re location and facilities. I am on 5 Star rating on Airbnb but if you want to book directly I can exclude your fees.

Did you know, we are not only situated in the Yorkshire Dales within a 9 mile radius of all of the Y3P’s, but also we are only 45 minutes from some of the most unspoilt, quiet, off the beaten track coastline. Great for an alternative day out when you stay.
