🐾Happy National Dog Day 🐾
Today is all about celebrating those wonderful, funny, loyal, muddy, mischievous, loving little souls who make our lives infinitely better. 🐶
And of course, I couldn’t let the day pass without celebrating our very own Kali.
Our beautiful Romanian rescue girl who I met in March 2018, and I genuinely can’t imagine our world without her in it.
She’s taught me (us) that sometimes the greatest adventures come with four paws, that a muddy walk can be the best kind of walk, that a dog’s excitement is contagious…and that home really is wherever your dog is.
Kali has had more adventures than we could ever have imagined and we’re so grateful for every single one of them. It’s lovely to see her with the her sisters when they come and stay with us in the Dales, and to have seen their bond grow over the years.
We’re so proud with the cottages and Cozy that dogs aren’t an afterthought here. They’re part of the family.
We know that for so many of you, a holiday simply wouldn’t be a holiday without your four-legged best friend by your side. So today we’re celebrating ALL the dogs…
🛋️The ones currently stealing the sofa.
🥾The ones who believe every walk is an expedition.
🥹The ones who have perfected the art of the puppy eyes.
❤️The rescue dogs who finally found their forever home.
🐕The old souls who have been by our side for years.
🌈And the precious ones who have crossed Rainbow Bridge but will never, ever be forgotten. 🐾
Because however long they’re with us, they leave paw prints on our hearts that last forever.
So let’s fill the comments with some National Dog Day love! 🐶👇 Show us your fur babies - past and present.
Tell us their names, share a photo, or simply leave a ❤️ for the dog who still has a very special place in your heart. We’d love to see them.
Happy National Dog Day.
