We have a room available all week and weekend due to another Covid related cancellation.
If you can manage a break at short notice we can promise you a warm welcome - in every sense looking at the weather forecast!

It seems strange that summer has arrived, and after an extremely busy first part of 'the season', we find ourselves with empty rooms early next week.
If you can get away for a couple of days and fancy Yorkshire in the sunshine ( doesn't happen that often) at a great rate - give us a call!!

Sometimes 'the news' might seem a little remote and appear not to affect you directly.
But we now know what 'inflation' means.
Just ordered heating oil, as summer is meant to be the cheaper time to buy - it is a fraction of a penny less than £1 per litre.
In December 2020 it was 33p.
Even I know that means it has trebled in price in 18 months!!

Another happy customer - Love it!!!

"Everything is 5 star.super comfy bed with luxury linen.The rooms are fantastic and spacious with really fab showers.We had the room with seating area which was welcomed after a long day walking.Complimentary wine and cake on arrival set the scene of relaxation bob and Sheila can't do enough for you and are such great hosts.Breakfast is quality fare and sets you up for the day with fresh fruit,cereals and a full cooked breakfast.Its a must return destination as you won't find anything better in the whole of the Dales.1 day is not enough as you are really well placed for exploring this part of the dales.we will definitely be back for more of this wonderful relaxing experience.Thanks Bob and Sheila for a wonderful break."
