We got this email through today (and we get the same awards from all the other big third parties). Unless we are getting 10/10s we will never be satisfied.

All good and well but BOOKING DIRECT is the way to go.

Over 90% of our bookings/income is from direct bookings! Not through these 3rd parties.

The winter is typically a quieter time for us where we can get some of those improvement and maintenance jobs done. Cheers again to our amazing gardener and one of my oldest mates for hacking back half of the Boldon rain forest at the back of the Comp and keeping South Tyneside places neat and tidy 🤝🙏👍 in keeping with our green ethos’s the waste is left in situ to encourage local flora and fauna to flourish and enrich the soil 🌳how’s it looking to you?

Monday afternoon Whattsapp message: Hi Colin, do you have ###X property available we need some emergency accommodation in South Tyneside; yes no problem! I'll stick the heating on. Checked in within a few hours.

Tuesday: One of our Aberdeen front doors (we only took on in summer so its the first winter we've managed it) become sticky and with an elderly couple in it needed rectifying ASAP - Done. Couple happy, warm and safe.

Wednesday: Phone call: Hi Colin we need to send another guy up to Aberdeen, but only for 2 nights (we are normally 7 nights minimum but less for regulars). Do you have anything. No problem, we can include this in the next invoice. Heat on, guy in last last night for central belt and happy.

This is why we are the best solution for short/mid term (emergency) accommodsiton in NE Scotlanf AND England.
